Top 20 Worst Selling Vehicles In Canada October 2014

How fitting that in a month such as October 2014, when the Chrysler 200 was Canadas best-selling midsize car, the twin of its predecessor would be Canadas worst-selling car.

The Dodge Avenger, now defunct, was down 99% to just 3 sales in October 2014. Chrysler Groups aim is for the 2015 200 to replace both the old 200 and the Avenger, thereby reducing the number of direct competitors possessed by their own vehicles.

This strategy will eventually result in the disappearance of the Grand Caravan from Dodges portfolio, as well, unless Chrysler Group/FCA take note of decades of success from, against convention, producing competing nameplates.

Continuing nameplates also appeared on this months worst seller lists, either because of a transition period for model year changeovers or simple decreases in popularity. The BMW X6, Lexus LS, Nissan Maxima, Acura RLX, Porsche Cayenne, Audi TT, Scion iQ, Nissan Versa, BMW X5, and Nissan Titan arent dead nor are they about to be.

You can always select a make and model at GCBCs Sales Stats page to find historical monthly and yearly sales figures from both Canada and the United States. Pertinent links are clickable at the bottom of this post, but you can also find related links at the Best Sellers page.

Top 20 Best Selling SUVs In America January 2015

2013 Honda Pilot
The Honda CR-V was the best-selling SUV in America in January 2015, just as it was in the 2014 calendar year.

But the CR-V didnt begin quite this strongly in 2014, as the Escape controlled the leaderboard for the early part of the year. CR-V sales were 16% stronger in January 2015, however.

Strong sales were also a hallmark of the Honda Pilot in January, as the clear-out of remaining second-gen models is underway in the lead-up to the third-gens arrival. The Pilot finished January ranked ninth - it was Americas 13th-best-selling utility vehicle in 2014 and in December, as well.

Historical monthly and yearly sales figures for any of these best-selling SUVs and crossovers can always be accessed through the dropdown menu at GCBCs Sales Stats page, and for those not viewing the mobile version of this site, near the top right of this page, as well. GoodCarBadCar has already published the list of Americas best-selling trucks in January 2015 and will shortly publish the list of Americas 20 best-selling cars.
