2013 Alfa Romeo 4C back to the U S market
The last new car Alfa Romeo was officially sold in 1994 in the United States. After that, the Italians moved out of the U.S. business. Now take the long awaited re-entry of Alfa Romeo to the U.S. market forms. Such as "Automotive News" reports, it should be in the first half of 2013 so far.

With its spearhead, the model built at Maserati 4C want to make the Italians, the Americans directly in the heart of their car and convince them of the emotional Italian cars. This they succeeded once before with the Alfa Romeo Spider-round stern, which gained after the movie with Dustin Hoffman leaving examination in 1967 achieved cult status in the United States.
But the awakening will of the emotions with the 2013 Alfa Romeo 4C sports car is only one side of the business. Even if it were possible for. The other consists of hard facts. The repeatedly postponed entry to the U.S. market is dominated by economic imperatives, which must be achieved. Has since formed an alliance with Chrysler, Fiat, seeing those who set the conditions for a successful comeback, however, increased significantly. At the same time it is for the young partnership, the biggest challenge. Thanks to partners at Chrysler dealers for the distribution level, everything is ready.
Fiats management is hoping secretly that the Alfa Romeo brand in the group can play a similar role, such as Audi within the VW family. Audi provides 40 percent share in VW profits in the U.S. and within the group embodies the technology substrate. With the sporty 4C, the Italian-American community is aimed at customers in the camp of the BMW Z4, Mercedes SLK and Porsche Boxster drivers. On the modular platform of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Dogde Dart will then be presented in the second half of 2013, the new Giulia is expected to reach the European market in 2014 America. Currently, the Italians do not tell where they want to build the new Giulia, whether in Italy or the United States. As a favorite is the U.S. production.

* Italicized, asterisked, unranked lines are nothing more than available breakdowns, already included in the models total, not in addition to the models total.
^ Brand total includes sales of commercial vans, without which Mercedes-Benz was down 4.9% to 28,593 in October; up 6.8% to 261,804 YTD.
² Total Prius Family sales: down 13.5% to 13,511 in October; down 11.6% to 179,001 YTD.
³ BMW has chosen to include sales of the 4-Series within figures for the 3-Series, presumably for year-over-year consistencys sake, while also combining the 1-Series and 2-Series. Hyundai does the same with the Genesis and Genesis Coupe.
† Total Infiniti G/Q50/Q60 sales: up 0.7% to 4718 in October; up 11.1% to 48,548 YTD. Total G Sedan and Q50 sales: up 4.9% to 4222 in October; up 21.3% to 42,294 YTD.
‡ Acura has chosen to combine sales figures for the RLX and its predecessor, the RL.
Sales data for brands such as Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Rolls-Royce etc. are unfortunately not broken down by model. ANDC estimates say sales for those brands in the first ten months of 2014 were 1020, 1750, 590, 142, and 750, respectively. Tesla, unfortunately, doesnt release model-specific monthly U.S. sales data, but Automotive News now issues estimates for the brand, and those estimates say Tesla sold 1400 cars in October; 19,530 YTD. HybridCars.com, however, has typically estimated much lower Model S sales, 1300 in October but only 13,200 YTD.
